We have a couple of mig/wire welders but the main one that we use is our Lincoln weld-pak 100. This 2 lb roll fits our machine perfectly and feeds smoothly. The wire produces a good weld, probably as good as any. I ordered the .035, but our welder will accept .030 also. I do actually think that this wire produces less spatter. We used to buy a similar type of wire at HF for $10-$15, but as we speak it is $25 per roll there. So this is a great value, and very good quality welding wire. I like that it comes in a vacuum sealed aluminum foil package. We go through so much that we donรขโฌโขt normally store it long term, but the packaging would keep it in good condition. Iรขโฌโขm very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend this flux core welding wire.

I'm not a professional welder, but I asked a pro about this type of wire. He told me that he uses it in combination with Argon CO2 gas, which makes the weld very clean. I tried it myself with my YesWelder. Since I'm not a pro, I'm not sure that I can authoritatively say whether or not my welds are clean, but they certainly seem to be. I have no complaints, so I'll simply say that I think it's a good value for the money, and I'll give it a preliminary 5 stars. I'll come back and update my review if I see any problems in the future.

I recently used the HONE Flux Core Welding Wire .035", and I am impressed with its performance, especially considering the price. The 2lb spool is perfect for small to medium projects, and the AWS E71T-GS gasless wire works great for all-position arc welding. It produces low splatter, making cleanup easier, and provides strong, clean welds. The ABS plastic spool is sturdy, and the wire feeds smoothly. If you're looking for a solid, budget-friendly flux core wire, this one is definitely worth trying out!

The spool of flux core welding wire was vacuum packed and moisture sealed really well. I'm not sure how much of a difference that is going to make on my welds, but first impression out of the box was good. I then used it on my mig welder and was able to make a decent strong weld on repairing a metal gate. I'm not able to test the weld strength, but then again, I'm mainly welding in applications where a failure wouldn't be as critical anyways.

Welds good and as clean as expected for a flux core. SO it offers a good value price point for basic welding tasks, and functions like you would expect. It easily fits to your spool and runs off of the spool smooth.

The spool contains the wire very well. The spool mounts well and the wire feeds through smoothly. The wire made good welds and functions as required. The wire spool is priced competitively. Easy to use and clean excess spatter.

Nice welding wire, have only used it for thinner metal so far. Low spatter, cleans up easily.

This wire was very easy to set up in my welder and produced some nice welds. That is, they were pretty nice welds for a newb welder like myself. The spatter was comparable to the wire I was running in the machine prior to this. That wire is also well regarded for being low-splatter, so I'll give this wire two thumbs up in terms of ease of use and quality of welds.I'm not sure if the manufacturer experienced problems in the past with the spool breaking because they did mention that this spool is made of a better, shatter-resistant ABS plastic. I can attest that the spool arrived completely intact. Even the vacuum sealed bag around the spool was perfectly intact despite sharing a box with another product that had its plastic packaging shattered into several pieces. Seems to me like their new spool passed a real-world shipping test with flying colors.
