I had an old tank that was completely full and I just wanted to be able to use the gas. This was a cheap solution. I was able to retire the tank and I'll keep this handy in case I need it again. The machining is great and the gasket was intact.

I have a 100lb propane tank for my emergency generator. The hose for the generator wouldn't fit the tank. Now it does. Checked with soapy water and no leaks.
