I used this to keep a motorcycle dolly from sliding on pavement while loading the motorcycle on the dolly. I also used it to keep a car door from rubbing on a storage cabinet door.It stayed solid on the surfaces I put it on.

There are a lot of ways to use this roll of rubber, one of the ways I used it recently was to put under a loose wiper fluid reservoir that had been rubbing against an AC line in the engine bay of my older toyota. I stuck it onto the bottom on the reservoir and now I don't have to worry about a hole being rubbed through the AC line. It's easy to cut with a utility knife, cut away from yourself, or with a strong pair of scissors or side cutters.
