I was able to find and install this in our Hoover Spirit vacuum cleaner without much difficulty and so far it works fine.

The proper replacement. Took moments to open the handle and swap switches. This switch is the real deal, not a generic substitute.

This switch was not plug and play for our Hoover Windtunnel. The switch in our machine had two fixed leads that were attached with insulated crimps connecting to the line and load wires. The delivered switch has blade style terminals, which thankfully I have the mating female crimp on connectors for, and a little heat shrink tuning. Note that I had not done my homework and taken the broken switch out of the machine to check for an identical replacement, had I done so I likely would have searched for and purchased a switch with the built in leads.

Switch broke on my vacuum, this one replaced it. The switch is a bit hard to push off and on but it seems like it is getting better with use so probably just needs broken in some. Beats having to buy and new vacuum for just a bad switch

Switch is ever so slightly larger causing installation and functional issues. The color of the rocker is black as opposed to red as shown leading me to believe it is possibly the wrong switch. The "baggie" it was shipped in has a label with the correct part number but I have no confidence this was the correct switch.
