Moso bamboo can grow more than 10 meters in about 1 month, but we only use bamboo for more than 3 years as raw material to produce bamboo skewers, because its plant fiber is more tough and higher quality.

I like having these on hand. They're not only good for cooking but they're convenient and kinda fun to use for spearing pickles and/or olives out of a jar when I want a quick snack. 😠The points are nice and sharp and sturdy enough that I don't worry about them breaking off while loading them up for grilling. I soak them in water before using them to cook with and they remain damp until grilling is finished, and they're long enough to hold a plateful of food.

The quality is as good as can be for toothpicks. Pointy, sturdy and consistent. Great for appetizers. Comes in 4 600 count packages. A 600 package was able to fill both of these containers.

They were great to use. I soaked them in water for a couple hours before using them on the grill and they came out perfect. there is exactly as described.

I use these with my bacon microwave cooker. It works great because I can run the bacon through the skewers and it holds the bacon firmly so it cooks the slices flat and straight.

Diameter of the skewers is 2-2.5 mm, very thin. Could have bought this product from any of the lower price available. Also it's written on the pack itself that it is of 80 skewers not 100.
