This was perfect for what I needed and is high quality. My only complaint is that I wish some of the rings came down lower on each side, but other than that a great purchase for dialup lounging and long lining.

My horse is a 16.2 warmblood and quite girthy, so it took me a long time to find a surcingle that would fit him. This one fits with additional holes in the girth, so it would fit very big horses. Love the construction of it too.

This product is overall disappointing. The rings on the sides are much smaller than the top- the buckle for my long lines won't fit through the lower side ring and can only go through the higher rings, making double lunging or using the lower setting for a Pessoa system impossible. The lower side rings only work for hooking side reins or vienna reins to.Additionally, the padding is very minimal so if your horse has anything but a very flat back, you'll have to add additional padding. Overall a cheap and poorly made product. Now having to buy ANOTHER surcingle and will be more careful this time in assessing functionality.

This is an inferior product. I have used it 4 or 5 times but it just does not work. The metal pieces intended to hold the tension of the rope are too big or either the rope is too small or slick. With the slightest bit of pressure the ropes pull through defeating the purpose of the device.

A practical, useful non-expensive surcingle. Fits well, good for occasional use.

Even if I got a fleece for the girth part of this lunging surcingle, the nylon is so very thin, it would fold or cut into the horses’ side/elbows. I returned it. Had it been made with a sturdier padded girth, it would be something I’d consider.

I like the basic quality of this surcingle, but it tends to move. Need a sturdy pad under it (like a thinline pad) to keep it steady.
