It is a good cable. The thumb screws need to be heavier duty. The cable is so thick it puts tension and stress on that connector and the thumb screws get stripped and pull out. I purchased another brand which had actual screws rather than thumb screws. Like I said it's a good cable and we'll worth the price. Just be aware of tightening the connectors.

I got this for an Ebay buy I'm about to do. I have some old DA-88 tapes to dub over to Wav format. This cable is going to fit just fine on the deck I end up with... and the price is great.

Unsure what the reasoning is behind this from HOSA but the attachment posts are not 4-40 they are something smaller. As a result these do not make secure connections and I am now searching for replacement screws, hopefully not replacement cables. Buyer beware not for high traffic applications. Work fine while they are in place.
