Used for years to bring order to stages everywhere, gaffer tape has become the roadie’s secret weapon in the war against cable clutter. Better than duct tape, its easy-on, easier-off adhesive leaves no sticky, gummy residue on gear, stands, or cables. Available in three colors:

This is gaffer tape. To be good, and useful, it has to be sticky...but not TOO sticky. It has to cling hard without leaving residue. It succeeds at all of these things. It's tape. It's not exactly sexy or exciting unless you have need of good gaffer tape, in which case the stuff is worth its weight in gold. Used it for events, in all the ways one usually uses Gaffer tape, and it performed as I'd expect it to. It's durable, doesn't tear off by accident, and adheres well. I'll buy it again, which is the best recommendation I'd personally offer. Inexpensive, worth the money, exactly what I need it to be.

I've purchased this product several times. The consistency between orders has been solid. All do exactly what they are suppose to do, grabbing onto surfaces that are less than sparkling clean and not pulling up paint when it's torn up. Easy to tear with your fingers and quite durable. If you're laying cable for a performance and need it to stay put, don't mess around with duct tape or some other improvised solution. This stuff is well worth it.

This tape is not like normal gaffers tape. I have used tape similar to this before when I had to borrow some from one of my techs. This tape has a glossy finish instead of the usual "hide from the eye" flat sheen that more expensive tape has. Because of this, I found that this tape does not suit my needs very well, because I rely a lot on the fact that the tape I use is flat matte and difficult to see. The glossy sheen on this tape makes it much more visible to the eye.This tape does have good adhesion to most surfaces though. Carpet does not stick very well, but for smooth surfaces this will work well on. I find that my ProGAFF brand tape will stick to carpets much better than this tape.

We've been using this brand for years in our church with no issues except it does leave a residue on anything it is in contact with for a long time (weeks). I remove the residue with WD40. We set up and pack up every week so this works very well for our needs.

Hosa so far has been the best gaffers tape I have used. Not too sticky but sticky enough. I love that it's 3" wide so it will hold cables down a lot better. It's also great if you have a lot of cables in one spot that needs to stay down. Very easy to pull a part if you need smaller strips.

When I ordered this, I thought Hosa would come through with a good quality gaffers tape. I don't know why I thought this; My generally positive results using Hosa audio cables in the past? No matter.About this 'Gaffers Tape' ; While I *suppose* it does technically qualify as gaffers tape, its quality barely rises above poor as gaffers tape goes. In the past month+ of use I've experienced very un-gaff behavior from this tape: the adhesive left residue on both tile and wooden floors, the adhesive stuck during removal and ripped a small patch of paint from wall, and the tape simply doesn't tear as cleanly as you would expect from tape called Gaffers. From my experience with it, this tape's quality is weak, making the value:cost ratio out of balance for me.tl;dr : Weak Town - Hosa Gaffers Tape is the Mayor. Like, totally not worth the money. Get a better brand!

The tape worked well. I love three inch wide for making it easy to capture the wire under the tape.However, I ordered this product three times, and but the second order never arrived. For $26, I didn't bother complaining, so I'm not too angry about that.Also, the picture shows three rolls of tape, but you only get 1. That quantity is never clearly stated in the description, so the picture could be interpreted to say the quantity is 3. It is not. I'm also not too angry about this.Put together, though, I'm not impressed with this item. There are better sellers with better descriptions here on Amazon.

I am upgrading my review of this tape - It is very sticky, it's much better than I first thought - It is thick, which makes it feel premium - It is not shiny, nice matte tapeThe only downside is, it's not cloth tape, which is my preferred type of gaff tape.

El rollo es mucho más grande de lo que esperaba. Por el precio pensaba que estaba muy caro para lo que venÃa, pero en realidad es bastante cinta y nos durará por mucho tiempo en el estudio. For fabric Gaffer's tape, I have found this to be too sticky (residue, etc).If you're looking for a sticker tape, this may be perfect for you.
