About this item

  • Right-angle 1/4 in TRS to dual right-angle 1/4 in TS
  • Oxygen-free copper (OFC) Conductors for Enhanced signal clarity
  • Ofc Spiral shields for effective EMI and RFI Rejection and Flexibility

Hosa Insert Cables are great for portable rigs. This cable is conventionally wired (TIP = Send, RING = Return) and may be used as a "Y" to split stereo signal into Left and Right. In this case, Right = RING and Left = TIP.

Pros: These things work, build quality is solid (after a serious two months of use) and they're cheap, that's pretty much the deciding factor here.Maybe A Pro/Maybe A Con: Length - these are pretty long so in a pedalboard situation this isn't ideal. Having something 3 foot when it needs to be 6 inches is quite the give to excess noise and stuff. While I didn't notice any addition noise, I only use these for demos when needing a TRS to Dual TS splitter for guitar pedals that are true stereo but only have one in and out.Cons: None really, but something worth a note.Hosa isn't exactly something you buy for the long term, while it's been a lot of use in two months, it could die next month, but it can live another six months, or six years. It's a gamble with Hosa for sure, and having use a lot of their cables in my studio because of how accessible they are and how cheap they are, they're no Mogami or any other high-end brand that makes sure to put QA first. They're just solid, cheap, and useable and you get what you pay for.I used these for my Jackson Audio New Wave, Flower Pedals Sunflower and Dahlia, and my Strymon Flint, they worked with no problem, and sounded great on all of them.

I use this b/t my small mixer main out to my scarlettrite 2i4 2nd gen. I can take all my TRS inputs into my mixer and only now need one cable that breaks them out into separate l/r channels. No more switching to mono so I can hear it from both sides or having several cables from TS, TRS, RCA, or XLR converting to 2 mono channels for left and right. In my limited experience, HOSA cables are a bit pricey but have the best and most durable cable sleeves, strain relief attachments and bulky cables that are never going to come apart with proper use, or even take some abuse in gig bags or my bottomless drawer of cables and always come out uncrimped, bent, or broken in any other way.

Not great.. Decent.. Functional Used it on a pedalboard so its tied down and fit for purpose. I would not use this in a patchbay though... well... every now and then maybe, but I don't think it belongs there as a dedicated patch cable... unless you get to charge extra for chasing down shorts.... has it come to that yet out there? ;)

I wish this had been available in a 3" or 6" version, but I couldn't find one. As usual, Hosa comes through.I needed it to connect my RC5 looper to an F7 dual footswitch. The right angle housing is more compact than other brands and the adapters I had on hand. The extra length is easy enough to coil and hide. I've used Hosa stuff for years, and used to deal directly with them when I worked in music retail. Great gear and great people. If I'd taken time to find their number, they'd have probably custom made the length I wanted. As it is though, great bang for buck. Thanks Hosa and Amazon!

I got a pedal with a stereo TRS input. The tip (black plug) brings in the white pedal on the left channel and the ring (red plug) brings in the green pedal on the right channel, to the TRS stereo input on the blue pedal. The 30cm EBS insert cable is too short and this 1m cable was the next shortest option. I ran it under the table so there wasn't a bunch of extra cable on the pedal table. Wish there was one about 18 inches long.

Love the 90 degree male TRS connector. Now if they would only offer one with female L/R TS connectors on the other end and it would be the perfect answer for me. I have found straight TRS male to female L/R TS connectors, but nothing with the 90 degree male TRS to female L/R TS. Anybody find those yet?

These work so perfectly with my rig, I am able to kombine my Akai MPX16s together as one! Since they don't make a 32 I've got to improvise.

Bought one of these to run stereo into my Strymon Iridium since it only has the single stereo input jack and it did the job so well that I bought a second one to fly with me overseas. The pedalboard didn't make it in one piece but the cable held up strong.

Lo único que no me agradó mucho es que el plastico que cubre el angulo recto del plug es muy grueso, se acomodó en mi pedalboard bien, es de buen tamaño porque mi board es pequeña

Great insert cable for connecting guitar pedals that output stereo via two 1/4 TS connectors to a pedal that accepts stereo input via a single 1/4 TRS (and vice-versa). The right angle connectors make everything very compact and manageable on a pedalboard. The cabling is soft and very flexible, making it easy to bundle up and hide under a board. I was worried 1m would be too long and messy just for connecting pedals together, but it works out very nicely.

A cable with this functionality and right angle connectors is a pretty rare find - I bought a couple of these to connect to a stereo guitar pedal and they’ve worked well.
