I just received them today, so I cannot speak to long experience with this product. But on a first impression basis, the product is robust and has a good quality feel to it. The spring loaded clasp is firm. Seems more than adequate for my camera strap. I certainly feel confident hanging my Sony a7R IVA which is about 5k worth of equipment once you factor in the G Master lens to it, lol.

These are great for making paracord dog leashes for SMALL dogs. I also use these for making keychains. The only thing I'm not happy about is that they come in one huge bulk bag and some of them get a little scratched up. But each clip is super strong and operates smoothly. I've never had an issue with any of them. This is my second time ordering these. They're the best ones I found so far!

We recently got a puppy. We set up a metal "playpen" for her in the yard. I decided to cut the 16-panel unit into single units, so I could set up playpens of various sizes as needed. I tried some snap hooks from the local big box to serve as connectors. They worked, but I'm an old geezer now so the snaps were too hard to open. I got these and bingo, I can open them with no problem. I rarely give five stars because I reserve them for products that go above and beyond expectations, sort of like a Medal of Honor for hardware. But I did five stars for these little gadgets because they really solved a problem for me, and they were very inexpensive.

Good value for the price, but some clasps are pretty “sticky†in that they don’t always close smoothly. I’m gonna test a lubricator to see if this helps, but still worthwhile for my intended purpose (latching small animal doors shut).
