I bought these to replace the snaps on cross-ties for my barn. My mare sometimes panics when tied and broke the snaps on the brand new cross-ties so I am hoping these will stand up a little better than the originals. They seem to be a better quality than the "pot metal" snaps that came on the cross-ties.
