I have rheumatoid arthritis. My hands are very crippled. I was able to open the wine bottle easily.

Just as described and I love this brand. We had another opener this brand that lasted for years and it wore out.

My old Houdini wine opener broke after nearly eight years of use, so I ordered a replacement because I loved it so much. Unfortunately, this new version is much cheaper and of poor quality. It takes a lot of effort to remove the cork, and it feels like it might break or cause the bottle neck to snap. The whole item feels flimsy and cheap. It's disappointing that they cut corners on this new version. In my opinion, it's not worth the purchase. I ended up buying a $6 OXO opener that works better than this.

Came in timely manner & decently priced. Not the best Houdini but still works better than a traditional corkscrew.

I purchased my first Houdini Opener thirty years ago. It’s still working. I bought the second on as a gift.

My previous houdini lasted for years, but never got close to the # of bottle openings advertised before it broke. At least it came in a nice plastic storage box. This one does not. Very disappointing!Update: 5 months later, the handle snapped off while removing the cork. It isn't just cutting corners by skipping the storage box. These are made more flimsy than the original. I would not buy again, and would return if it were still within that window. Don't expect much. If you had an old Houdini and are replacing, you'll find it isn't the same as what you're used. It'll feel cheaper, and it is.
