Made it through the camping season with these. Easy to use and install no leaks. I didn’t notice any taste from it or dirty water come out of it while in use. We did flush it out before installing just I case. Can’t beat it for the price I’ll buy them again.

I use this for my houseboat dock water filter. It supplies filtered water for everything internal for the boat: sinks, showers, dishwasher, icemaker and laundry. Easy to install and use, it's a good value.

I guess these work good. I haven't got out the microscope and checked before and after. I doubt .any have though.

I bought a 275 gallon container for water storage, I cleaned it out and bought this to filter my water spigot into the large tank but there were no instructions that came with these filters. I figured, with other water filters, I’d need to run some water through it first, and I’m glad I did, however, this seller should put instructions as far as how much water needs to go through before it can be safe to drink.Almost all the black powder was pushed out of the filter within about 5 seconds of the pressure from my water hose, so make sure to do that before putting it into your RV or wherever else you might use this.
