I refurbished an Excell 2800 PSI 3GPM pressure washer with this pump. The original pump had faulty check valves. Technically, this pump is a bit too big for this washer since the engine is only 7.5HP. So with the pump at the max pressure setting, the load on the engine is sufficiently large to cause it to immediately stall. But this is easy to correct by simply dialing down the pressure slightly with the "adjustable unloader". This allows for the pump to be set at the maximum load that engine can comfortably deliver thus giving at least as good (actually better) performance from the washer as with the original pump.It certainly would have been cheaper to repair the original pump but it could not be repaired because the access plugs for the check valves were frozen. Since these were brass plugs, they could not be torqued sufficiently to remove (would round off the flats on the hex heads). Since this replacement pump has steel plugs it should be possible to remove the plugs to replace the check valves when needed.

Easy to install and perfect performance. I’ve used the pump now for about 10 hours with no issues. I changed the oil after first use and there was a bit of metal in it. Most likely from initial break in. Seems good.

Originalmente Mi pressure wash era una Simpson 4000 psi a gasolina, y adaptar esta nueva bomba fue super facil y sencillo, solo son 4 tornillos que tienes que quitar y poner de nuevo. Tiene mucha fuerza, solo la he usado un par de veces y espero que dure por mucho tiempo. Haré una actualización más adelante.

I own a high end pressure washer which had a CAT pump on it. The pump was 20 years old. I contacted CAT service center and basically got little help. By chance I’m checked Amazon — to my surprise this pump was available for $200. Specs were as good as CAT. I ordered it - installed it and it works perfectly. GREAT REPLACEMENT PUMP. If you own a higher end/high pressure power washer this is a perfect replacement.

Was an easy install however not everything was included as pictured. The soap line doesn’t work nor was the hose for the soap line.
