Hoya engineers have developed a new ANTISTATIC coating that acts like a force field around the filter to repel dust. Perfect for environments where dust is common, these filters require less frequent cleaning and maintenance than traditional filters. Additionally, the hardened antistatic top-layer is water repellent, stain and scratch resistant, and cleans easily when smudges or fingerprints are introduced to the surface. Circular polarizing filters allow photographers to achieve creative in-camera effects not possible after the image is created. A polarizing filter simply filters out unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass in addition to light reflected from moisture and pollution in the atmosphere. By rotating the filter you can select just the right amount of filtration needed to achieve the creative effect. This results in bluer skies, greener leaves, reduced or eliminated reflections, and greater clarity in your final image. The new FUSION Antistatic professional filters are made in Japan using hand selected silicates that are carefully smelted and blended to produce high performance optical glass. Hoya then uses extreme care and precision to apply the improved 9-layer Super Multi-coating formula which eliminates or greatly reduces reflections on the surface of the glass, resulting in very high light transmission rates. This means that the filter has virtually no effect on the colour balance, contrast, or clarity of the final image beyond its polarizing effects. The FUSION CIR-PL filters feature a lightweight, two-piece, very low-profile aluminium frame to house the glass, which eliminates vignetting when used on ultra-wide-angle lenses.

This filter certainly does as it should by cutting reflections. I haven't noticed a big change in color temperature while using and sharpness barely changes. It's something you will only see if taking a picture with and without, while later doing a comparison. Even then, not much.

Very dark - thought I'd be able to leave it on full time but it's way too dark for that. Good for bright sunny landscape shots or when using tripod.

This is a high-quality polarizer filter. It is very slim so I can use it with my wide-angle lens, color transference is neutral, and it only costs about 1 to 1.5 stops instead of the usual 2+ with other polarizing filters.Highly recommended, I have bought these for all of my lenses.

I placed an order for this filter, fully aware that it was advertised as an open box and nervous that it might not be in the best possible shape. When it arrived, I discovered that the plastic carrying case was a bit scratched, but the filter itself was in perfect shape. The bonus was that it cost me half of what my local camera store sells it for. I'm delighted with this purchase and wouldn't hesitate to take a chance on an open box purchase again.

Gran filtro polarizzatore.usato in diverse situazioni mi ha regalato grandi gioie anche se all'inizio regolarlo, con il parasole dell'obiettivo montato era alcuanto difficoltoso.prendendoci dimistichezza ora riesco con meno tempo anche se a volte o paura di svitarlo piuttosto che regolarlo.Nonostante cio la resa delle foto è altissima e trovando la giusta angolazione si sfrutta appieno la peculiarita di questo filtro.Consigliato e servizio amazon n.1

Comprado de segunda mano directamente a Amazon y habrÃa sido imposible distinguirlo de uno nuevo. VenÃa con su caja original perfectamente conservada y con la protección interior.Las pocas veces que lo he utilizado No ha producido viñeteos en objetivo gran angular de 11mm. Lo he utilizado en otros objetivos mediante anillos adaptadores sin problema alguno.Consta de anillo que permite girar el filtro una vez anclado al objetivo con una pequeña marca para controlar la posición de giro.Es resistente a la suciedad asà como muy fácil de limpiar cuando ha sido necesario. El material de construcción es de calidad.
