This is a great bit for pocketing and for cutting out parts. Can really crank up the feed-rate on the CNC and it cuts smoothly and accurately. Great bit. Will definitely buy again if if anything happens to this one or it starts getting dull. Highly recommend for a cutout bit!

I run these at 18k-20krpm at 100-150ipm in 18mm ply or softwood. Cut quality is adequate in one full depth pass, quite clean if you take a finishing pass at .015 step over. We have a 5x10ft machine with 9kw on the spindle. 18mm Baltic is better at 120ipm roughing, 80ipm finishing.I usually get about 6 full sheets of ply before I change the bit. I have gone longer, but the cost/benefit just isn't there to push it.If your bits are breaking, try running faster. You should get hundreds of feet of cutting life.We use these for shop jigs mostly where finger jointing is used for assembly. The small diameter makes for nicer finger joints without a lot of loss to dogbone corners.

These are outstanding both in quality and value. Super clean pockets. These are our go to 6mm bits for our CNC based business. All of Hozlys bits bits we have tried have been shockingly good.

1/8th compression bits are the best bits to cut parts on a CNC machine. Dont buy the expensive bits, it doesnt make a difference. Just buy cheap bit in big packs. I've cut tens of thousands of products with these things; hardwoods, plywood, MDF, etc.

Not sure why they can't make these an inch longer for large spindles and collets. Cut well for a few hours, then started leaving ridges on each depth pass.

Have used 1 of them so far and bit is still sharp and making good cuts

Not a fan of the super short shank but these bits are wicked sharp. They’ll cut great and leave a smooth edge. Highly recommend. Got them as backup bits but I’ve been using them regularly.

Do not use these on a CNC machine. The shank is way too short and you will destroy your collet and the bit will snap off from the amount of torque/pressure being exerted onto the bit

These are high quality bits. Sharp and long lasting! Compare with regular carbide bits, the edge definitely last a lot longer.

Appena provata. Lavora molto bene e il taglio é pulitissimo
