Strong bit! It has exceeded my expectations. I’ve ran this bit HARD and it hasn’t broken.

This is orders of magnitude better than the tiny 1/8" 2-flute v-bits you can buy. I struggle to get them centered perfectly. This bit on the other hand, every time I pop it in, it's centered perfectly. No complaints from me. I use this to mill out logos on small 14K gold tags. Not very deep, but it works great with a 30K spindle.

Product - Style: 1Flutes Engrave | Pattern Name: 15 Degree | Size: 15 Deg -0.005" Tip - 0.93" CLThis is a very sharp carving tool and it works very well.We really appreciate the hard plastic storage case, but did not like the tip protector at all.Warning - This bit comes with a rubber-like blue safety tip protector that is basically useless. The rubber tip is VERY thin and really does not protect the point of the router bit. As a matter of fact, putting the blue tip on the router bit is dangerous as the tip of the router can (and will) push right through the rubber! Be VERY careful when using the safety tip, watch your finger placement!Good for detail work - stayed sharp.

I love doing inlays and the steep angles these create make for great results. They seem very sharp and leave nice clean cuts even in harder woods that can tend leave small chip outs. I also have found that the 15 degree angle allows for good detail in fine lettering v-carves. I can get nice results where using larger angles does not work well for small details. The 5 thousandths tip is very precise for making nice detailed engravings.

This single flute bit is super fine and is ideal for detailed engraving. I did some tests with it and was very impressed with how fine this will cut. It is EXTREMELY sharp, so handling it requires some care, but once you get it in the router it does an amazing job. I'm not sure how long the tip will stay this sharp on harder substrates, but I'll be engraving some steel soon and we'll see. But so far I'm very impressed. It works well with my CNC at high rpms, and very little heat. I'm not sure what the 'nano coating' involves, but it does seem to retain its sharpness on everything I've thrown at it so far.
