I have used this every day on my IM rotation as a PA student. The med student was so impressed with the layout he bought one himself. I change the updates section to use as my consults/following. The labs section is a little small, and I use the ddx section for extra imaging notes. I also find it odd that cardio and pulm are lumped together on exam. Otherwise, best book i've seen for the money.

This is an excellent resource for nurse practitioners or PA students learning to evaluate patients and write up notes. Has lots of detailed information to help guide your interview process and notes. Lots of detail to help guide questions to ask patients in system format. Helped me significantly!

I LOVED IT. It’s the perfect size to carry around. I’m currently a PA student soon to be going on clinical rotations and I think it will be really handy. It’s a nice check list to make sure I didn’t miss anything during a patient encounter. I can’t wait to use it !!

This is a very helpful book to remember everything needed, but for someone who needs reading glasses, forget it. You'll actually need a monocle or magnified glass. lol Probably a regular sized book with the same material would work.

A lot of the HPI books I have bought in the past were very bulky and had a lot of irrelevant material. This book is small enough to fit into your coat pocket and will help you obtain an accurate HPI every time!!

I have used other H&P books and this one doesn’t even compare!! By far the most comprehensive and inclusive book out there. Great for medical students, PA students and residents! 10/10 recommend!

You need a magnifying glass. Just print the info off the computer and save $20. Waste of money!!!!!!!
