I'm a medical student in my third year psychiatry rotation right now and this book has been so handy to have on me. Whenever I am interviewing patients or even just prerounding or rounding, it has all the sections I need to remember what is pertinent and organize everything so that when it comes time to present the patient to my attending, the presentation flows so well because this little book has helped me immensely in organizing my thoughts. Highly recommend!! I have already gone through the pediatrics version of this book from this brand (HUGE HELP!) and have already purchased for my internal medicine rotation. If they have more specialties for this book I will be buying them because they are so, so helpful!!

I looooove this spiral H&P book for psychiatry. It helps me stay organized! They even included easy conversions and helpful medical cards to attach to you badge. Definitely recommend to anyone who needs a template, guide to patients interview and even oral presentations!

Very Useful. Preferred slightly different spacing amongst the boxes but definitely helpful as a medical student. If you're ever in the middle of a patient interview and ever forget anything you can just look down at your notebook and know exactly what to ask.

This book is a great size, easy to fit in purse! Good quality, many pages of H&P that can be torn out as needed. Using it tonight at my first behavioral health urgent care shift!

I’m a nurse practitioner student in psychiatry, and this has been great. It’s small enough to fit in my purse and it doesn’t intimidate the patients when I discreetly write in it. The info is organized and makes it very easy to access later. The only thing I don’t love is that the “lab values†section takes up a lot of space on one page, and we don’t use that section at all. (I’m in an outpatient clinic right now; maybe it would be different inpatient). My clients have substance use disorders so a UTox section would be more helpful for me. But overall I love it.

So initially I thought it was just the bottom that had nasty stuff on it (first photo). I thought, fine, it’s a hassle to return rn. I’ll just clean what I can. And then when I actually opened it, I realized that was the top and there is obvious water damage to it. That stuff is probably mold. Pretty disappointed. I really wanted this notebook!!!!! I don’t know if I should throw it away or return it.
