We bought two of these, based on reviews and specs. We have two fairly heavy 32" Dell monitors that needed wall mounts, and there are a lot of competing products. We liked the full motion adjustability this offered.Other reviews mentioned that they mounted a board against the wall (which went into the studs), and then attached this to the board. That is what we did, we bought a 2"x8"x 8 foot long board for $6 at Lowes, and had them cut it into two 4' boards. We then attached this mount to the monitor, set it to its maximum height, and measured the difference between the bottom of the monitor and the bottom of the mount (3"). We took off the mount, and decided on the (maximum) height of the monitor to the desk which was 8". This meant the bottom of the mount should be 5" above the desk for our monitors. We screwed each 2"x8"x4' board into the wall slightly below that 5", then attached the mount to the board (there was no stud where we wanted the arm mounted). Then we attached the monitor to the mount, which fit the Vesa bracket perfectly. The monitor was held up for the most part, but did begin to slowly sag. We used the hex key to tighten the vertical tension. It took two full revolutions, but the monitors have been held in place for 3 days now with no issues. We can adjust the monitor height (up to the maximum 8" we installed it at), and it holds in place. Some reviewers had issues with this, but we did not.Overall, these arms work better than we expected (we thought the monitors would be too heavy for it to hold, but that is not the case). We really like that we can swivel the monitors up and down, adjust the height, and turn them side to side. It's also easy to push the monitors up closer to the wall, or pull them out again.Update: March 22, 2021. It has been 4 months, and they still work just as they did on day one. We are still very happy with the purchase, and no issues at this time.

Little hard to get used to when trying to twist and turn. Stable, moves all around, easy to install, fits on my wall but it's a little stiff and some times just drops when I try to push it down or tilt it but that could be my own fault

A very well crafted, heavy duty articulating TV wall mount that I purchased two of for the two 32 inch curved screen Viotek PC monitors I recently purchased. I am very pleased with this item.Do be sure that your TV or monitor is of the appropriate size for the standard VESA attachment site, and that it's weight is within the recommended range for this TV wall mount's built in counterweight tension. This is necessary to allow for your screen to be pulled down towards you and hold its place without springing back up.The articulations are wide ranging enough to basically be able to fully move your screen in almost every direction you might want. I did find it a bit stiff at first but quickly got used to it and had no issues once I got the hang of it.Please note--its very important that this TV wall mount is secured into the studs in your wall! Otherwise you will rip it off the wall when trying to adjust it or it might fall off the wall itself, either way could result catastrophic consequences. This item arrives with all the necessary hardware, and it took me about 15 minutes to set it up, I actually bought two and had them both up side by side in roughly 30 minutes. The one tool not included that may be essential for safe installation is a stud finder for locating the studs in your wall to mount it to. As I stated earlier, anchoring the apparatus to the studs is critically essential for safe operation of this device!I do wish that I could have found this TV mount in a white color to match my two monitors but for the price I am happy with my purchase. In conclusion, this is a durable heavy duty TV mount offered at a killer price and I highly recommend that you purchase it for yourself.I hope my review is helpful, I decided to review this item because I found it to be of a high quality at a great price, and I gain nothing by writing this. -Jason Robert Litten

I ordered two of these to wall-mount a pair of 32" curved monitors stacked vertically. I'm using a standing desk, so I needed them to be height-adjustable, and these mounts work great. They were fairly easy to install into a stud and came with a template for the screws, so I could use the level to make sure it was vertical before I drilled the holes. My only complaint is that the plastic bit that is supposed to keep the cables doesn't seem to have a hinge, and the openings are too small to feed the DP connectors through, so they're pretty useless.

I can't believe this was only $20 CAD - I was expecting something junky but works exactly as advertised and feels pretty solid. Decent range of motion, though the tilt is a bit of trouble to adjust. It's possible this might not be for you if you're frequently adjusting positions eg some kind of professional setting. I had no issues installing this on my wall (watched the stud finder youtube video by Vancouver Carpenter for some great tips) and mounting my 28" monitor. No more monitor wobble as I type, and the extra desk space is sweet.BTW the mounting plate is 120 x 120 cm i.e. 1 cm btwn outer holes and the edge - the mounting holes on the back of my monitor are in a recessed area, but it fit perfectly.

Great price for this mount. Was easy to install with the right tools. The 'level' right on the mount is a great feature to ensure you mount it straight. It does require an extra set of hands to hold the monitor/TV up to it in order to attach it to the mount after the mount is installed on the wall, but other than that, it is very easy to install. The mount adjusts very smoothly up and down and to the side, whether you want it flush to the wall/mount, or pulled out.It pulls out, with ease, about 15" and it pulls down, with ease, about 10". It also tilts forward if needed and you can angle it to either side (when pulled out, approximately 90 degrees either way).It works great for me for my sit/stand desk. Very happy with it so far.

The range on this mount is amazing. I can comfortably view my monitor close or far and easily adjust the height and depth without needing to put it too far off from centre at my desk. It was very easy to install and holds very well (I have it in a wall stud). The only issue I've had with it is the tilt. I find it's not very secure even though I've tightened it as much as I can. It holds the monitor up to a point but if I tilt it down slightly, it wants to fall all the way down. It takes some playing to keep it in the right spot. My monitor is 19 lbs and 32". It's almost never an issue but it's the only complaint I have. Material is great, the base of the mount comes with a built-in level, there are plastic caps to hide the screws that have a notch for easy removal, the cable holders are a very nice addition and having a mount frees up sooooo much desk space. Very Happy with my purchase

Very happy that this mount is built like a tank, given that its range if motion and mobility were why I chose it. I wall mounted a 32" TV above my gaming monitor so that I could keep an eye on the hockey games while playing, and avoid having to twist around to the side. As such I needed the ability to raise and lower, as well as swing the TV around, all with a significant negative tilt angle. This mount handles it all like a champ.I read some complaints saying the instructions were unclear. I disagree, they were perfectly clear and I had it up in no time.

Appears as shown, comes well packaged in a cardboard box that is labeled and professional looking. There are plastic rings you should attach to mount flatter screens correctly without breaking the screen itself with the screws. Mounts well and is easy to adjust. The strut inside that allows the screen to move up and down may be stiff at first, but it loosens with the adjustable bolt, and everything moves smoothly after you adjust it to your preferences. It is great if you want a sit-stand option for your home office or gaming setup. Just make sure you do the correct measurements so it is not too high or low for your setup. It can be mounted directly to studs, but I personally used stylish laminated boards on my wall to mount between studs. If you do this, ensure the board is thick enough so the screws fit in securely. Otherwise a stud mount is perfect.
