I’m not using this stand for its precise intended purpose. I work from home and have a company laptop on my desk, folded closed and set between dual monitors that connect via a docking station built into one monitor. The computer is (understandably) locked down by the company, so I can’t utilize for personal purposes (can’t download programs; web sites are filtered/monitored, etc.). But there is no room left on my desk for a personal computer of my own.My solution was to buy a second laptop that can also connect to the dock so I have the full dual monitor/keyboard/mouse set up on a personal machine I can use for anything I want. But the only real space on the desk is right where the work laptop sits, longitudinally between the docked monitors. I measured carefully, measured again, and calculated that this shelf would fit *over* the work laptop and allow me to set the new personal machine (also folded closed) on top.Worked like a charm. Now both laptops sit between the monitors, and I can just switch which one is docked with a single plug. The shelf is sturdy and well-ventilated and blends seamlessly into the desktop.Five stars for a neat little item that suited my off-label use perfectly.

Simple and cost effective solution. Needed to raise my laptop screen to better align with my other 2 larger monitors currently mounted on homemade stands. Now all monitors are relatively at same eye level creating less neck strain when viewing and working from home. All components were level and plenty sturdy.

Great item and this was my second time purchasing this stand. I have used it to place my cable box on and a DVD player and it works well. This stand is made well and is stable. Also it is easy to adjust so all around a good product.

This was really easy to put together and is holding the weight of a very old computer monitor. It's a few inches tall and it works for storing stuff under the monitor. It has helped put together my set up for work.
