This item is very sturdy and easy to assemble.You will need a bull nosed plier, a rubber mallet and a Phillips head screwdriver which they included. Directions not needed.... it's all very straight forward. Other complaints I saw were clearly because the buyer did not assemble correctly. Great value. The size is true to description.... pay attention to that. 13 inch inside measurement.

Attractive (despite inexpensive particle board materials), easy to install, and reasonably sturdy design. Good match for black walnut finish. Wish they were packed without styrofoam.

FIRST: Yes, you need to assemble. But it's so easy. I, with adhd, two needy dogs, and nerve damage put this together in 20 minutes. IT COMES WITH E V E R Y T H I N G YOU NEED- a SCREWDRIVER, all required screws, pins, and caps with 1 extra each, and great visual and written instructions.It has a good weight, doesn't feel like plastic trash. Comes with wood grain stickers to hide the screws. Comes with anti skid sticker pads. I'd say an amazing grab for the money ESPECIALLY. Incredibly pleased about the amount of thought and effort put into assembly for the average person. Definitely a company I'll be looking to buy from again. Thank you.

I'm using this little stand for an alternative purpose.It's my stereo stand inside the cubby hole of a new TV stand.Works a treat.I don't often write about the stuff in the box and such, but in this case I do want to mention that this small stand came with 1 extra of each part, small circles to cover the cam-locks and... to my surprise... they even included a screwdriver and detailed instructions. Well Done TeamIX!I can happily recommend this to anyone.

It does the job, though it turned out to be too small for my V-shape monitor's stand let alone that it is ill-finished, there's some scratches around the screws. Don't get this if your monitor's stand is too big.
