Worked great out of the box. 1 call and it was good. My only complaint is that it has 0 settings to open ports etc. Not that it's needed.

I must say docsys 3.1 is the way to go! it worked Great.......for 2 days, then it died. Now to be fair this was a reconditioned unit so I am not overly put out about it. Sure, I was trying to save money. But in the end I bought a high end modem during prime days. All that said, Amazon was great about taking it back.

Humax does the job for $75 dollars with tax and comes with a 2 year warranty against a one year warranty like Netgear. I bought the Humax docsis 3.1 to replace my 5 year old Netgear CM 1000/1200 (Costco model) Docsis 3.1 which finally started to die with randomly dropping the signal to my ISP Astound (Grande/RCN). Every other day from 11pm to 4am it would drop then reconnect and drop till I unplugged it at 6am. It got so bad when I did the unplug it reconnected with 0.25 download speeds till Astound sent a signal to it.To the Humax: It works with out issue. The only issue was the setup with Astound as the modem wouldn't self reboot with a signal sent but after a unplug and an update all has been smooth sailing for 24 hours. The comfort of a 2 year warranty has me not worrying if the modem should act up or suddenly die.

Bought this to replace my trusty SB6183, but wanted DOCSIS 3.1 without breaking the bank so I figured I would give this one a try. The physical build quality seems pretty good right down to the power brick, I unboxed it, plugged everything in and to my suprise had internet with out even calling in the MAC address, albiet it was slow. I called Spectrum and got the MAC address setup and the modem provisioned properly and then got full speed and it's been consistant for days now. I have not tried it at gig speeds so I can't speak for how well the link aggregation works and stability at gig speeds and above, I have the 500/20 plan.

I bought this modem to replace my old modem whose max speed was around 200Mbps. However, my Xfinity plan is 400Mbps. I received it on the second day after order was placed - super fast. I spent around 20 minutes to register this new modem in Xfinity network and easily installed it successfully. After 1 week run, the max speed is 439Mbps (around 10% higher than my plan) that really exceed my expect. Moreover, it works stably like a rock without any interruption. Till now, I am completely pleased with this product.I didn't contact their tech support, so I give them 4 stars. For Wifi signal and Easy to install, I give them 5 stars as I think it deserves.

Got a bad one right off the bat, then the replacement worked for almost 3 years. Just failed on me. Could be worse but could be a lot better too.

Item was in the original box, but had clear signs of use and no protective plastic. Cox cable could not activate the modem because the MAC ID had already been used.
