it was easy to replace, thanks to You Tube. It took about 10 minutes including cleaning off the dust. update: It arrived on 01/29/24 and todays is 03/11/24 and its on the fritz again. I am going to order another one. Why? Because my Hisense unit is like 9 years old. It works GREAT for us. So, I'll give it another chance.

Based on model number of my hisense dehumidifer, I ordered this part. After attempting to install it in my unit I found the plugin on new circuit board did not match the wire plug in my dehumidifer. Returned this part as unused.

Really did not solve the E9 code. I believe the charge was lost and iced up, giving the E9 code, because it can no longer remove the humidity

Our Hisense dehumidifier displayed "88" and ran continuously until it iced up. Since everything else about it seemed to be working, I decided it was probably the sensor. I ordered this sensor and replaced the one in the unit. It immediately began working correctly. Its now about two months later and the dehumidifier is still working fine.

I installed it in my Hisense dehumidifier thinking this would be the problem to eliminate the E9 error message I was receiving. It turns out that the problem is not with the this sensor but that the E9 error is common to Hisense Chinese machines. The dehumidifier is going in the trash.
