I had received these wind chimes originally as a gift and was initially unwilling to put them outside because they are so unique and pretty. I eventually put them out in my front yard. They charge during the day and light up a surprisingly long time when it gets dark. One of the light strings went out fairly soon, but that didn't stop someone from stealing them off my front porch. I bought a replacement set because they are so pretty, but will be careful where I put them next, and it will be somewhere that is not easily accessible to thieves.

Love the item, It works and perform perfect. It was a surprise gift for my wife who was disappointed in that we could not get hummingbirds to our feeder. We took it down and added this to back porch.
