These calls have a good tone to them. There is a loud one and a softer one. I really really like how they sound. Very authentic.

Borrowed one of my buddies one of these while we were Sika hunting and immediately bought one the day I got home. I'd never used a call before and found this fairly easy to use. By the end of our trip, I had called in a monster Sika Stag with this call. Can't wait to use again some more next season.

I put the larger call in an old Carlton grunt tube, it makes a good locator call or spike squealer and cow chirps too. The smaller call has the wider reed like the original fighting cow call, one of my favorites. Both at a good price, nothing beats a diaphragm, but these come close.

I did not like the sounds this purduced. I thought they might scare the elk so I went back to my old standbys.

If I was a jerk, I would tell everyone that this call really sucks and doesn't work. That, however, wouldn't be the truth. I love this call and have called in too many elk to count with it. Works great for big bulls and cows. My best bull, which is now hanging on my wall thanks to this call is a 320 6x6. Not a monster for the record books, but a great bull none the less.

These little calls are hilarious, and surprisingly versatile. You can make a large range of elk calls with them by rolling up the rubber gasket that acts as a 'capo' for the call. It's all made of plastic, and the rubber gasket is not attached in any way, so it is very possible to lose it. The plastic is a basic quality, durable, but not made to withstand anything.I wasn't able to call in any elk with it, but it is a value-priced, surprisingly versatile little call that fits easily into your pocket. Perhaps I'll have a little better luck next year, but I would otherwise recommend it.
