This reed has been specifically designed for the most authentic bugles, and realistic cow calls to meet the demands of World Elk Calling Champion Dirk Durham.
The latex in this reed is stretched tight to an optimum point which allows the call will settle in for the longest possible duration of calling perfection. With this in mind, after 20+ hard bugles, the reed will begin settling in and continue to sound better and better.

if new to bugling for elk this product is for you. As a avid elk hunter I been using diaphragm calls for years and got this as a backup for locating bulls at long range after a few minutes practice and watching some instruction on YouTube . You should have no problem cranking out some nice clean bugles.

Only reason it’s not a 5 star for me is I had to cut my call down and then file it down in order for it to fit. Just a precaution I wrapped with electrical tape so it don’t fall off even though it was a tight fit. I just didn’t want to chance it. If the diameter of the call for right on to the tube it would be 5 stars super nice call and easy to use.

I got this for my brothers birthday gift and tried it out before I gave it to him but it only took me a few tries to figure out how to use it. It’s the first bugle I’ve ever used. I think I’m going to get one for myself.

Will not go on the bugle tube and is harder to use than a mouth call.
