I was looking for this kind of spoon and so glad I found it, especially since the color is what I needed. Perfect size and shape. It's very sturdy. Seems to have good quality so far. Works like I expected it to. Not too long or thick and makes it easy to cook and serve stews, spaghetti sauces and chili. Definitely recommend.

I had one of these years ago but it got lost during a move. The other two utensils in the set I still have and use regularly (for ~30 years). Only recently discovered I could still get this spoon. What I like about it. 1. It doesn't bend or flex. 2. It has just the right amount of bowl to use as a serving spoon and yet one can still stir a pot and get all the way into the bend at the bottom of the pan. 3. I can use it on non-stick surfaces. 4. Handle is the right length for a lot of pans & dishes. Recommend anyone who is looking for these features should try one.

I have been looking for years to replace an avocado green spoon that is the mainstay in my kitchen and almost 50 years old. This spoon in not exact, however it is the right length for arthritic hands, is sturdy and does not bend, and does not scratch pans. There were no 'burs on the spoon' at all... very smooth construction. The Cobalt Blue color is as depicted and after using the spoon for a couple of weeks now, I know I will be buying more. It does not flex at all when breaking up meat in a pan... very sturdy. It came wrapped in plastic with a sticker on the back of the spoon which peeled and washed off easily. I have hand washed and washed in the top shelf of the dishwasher and no issue with water spots or color fade. I hoped this spoon would be a good first test and it passed my test.

It's a very small spoon, too small to easily use with a 12" skillet or 4qt pot, but great for use with small pots (about 2 quarts) and 6" or 8" pans. Made by Hutzler in Thailand and has a rough ledge where you put your fingers on the back of spoon. Now that I have used it a few times, it's a pretty good spoon overall, just wish that I realized it's size before buying.

I've had a light blue version of this melamine spoon for decades, and it's taken a lot of abuse. I often use it to scrape the fond off the bottom of a pot or pan without scratching the stainless steel. It has a nice flat edge for that. I also use it in my non-stick pans (though not for hard scraping!) because it minimizes the risk of scratching the coating. Red is the accent color for my kitchen and dining space so I didn't like using the blue spoon for serving. But this red spoon can now serve that purpose too. I don't know if Gourmac was the manufacturer of my old blue spoon, but it seems absolutely identical in shape to the new read one. Even the weight is identical: 35 grams.Over time, my blue spoon began to discolor from exposure to turmeric and various sauces. I expect this will be less of an issue with a red spoon. If you select one of the other colors, just be aware that it could discolor over time. Also keep in mind that it took at least a decade or more before mine showed discoloration so I don't deem this worthy of deducting a star.For me this spoon gets a full five star rating for quality, durability, utility and versatility.

The blue of this spoon is exactly what I needed to match the color of the salad bowl I was bringing to a party. I could not find a blue spoon anywhere in my town. The spoon itself was 19 dollars. The only drawback for me as a Canadian was after taxes and import fees the spoon cost me 26 dollars way more than my dish. The spoon and the dish will be stored together and will await the next party or the next potluck.Overall yes I am happy with the spoon and it’s a perfect blue to match Asian design plates and bowls.
