Its just as pictured. I used it for gravy and when making my own salad dressings, I can see myself using this all year not only around the holidays. Washes easily and very sturdy.

This bowl works out great for ice cream, puddings, gravy and more usages than I can remember. My hubs thought it was a piece of junk we have no room for. When we returned from camping, I put them (2) in the dishwasher. Hubs emptied out the dishwasher and began to use these for late night snacks.Luckily, Amazon had these for sale, as he told me I should buy more as the two we had may be in the dishwasher and he has to hand wash them. I bought several more and he became so excited. Once again,Amazon saved the day.

I absolutely LOVE this gravy boat - it's perfect for ice cream, fruits, snacks, etc. The thumb indentation makes it great for securely holding especially for youngsters and elderly having difficulty holding things.

Several reviews commented on this being the perfect ice cream bowl. It really is round like a bowl with a handle, not boat shaped like a gravy boat. I’m keeping it as the melamine is perfect for my camper but be aware the pictures are not distorted or misleading, it really is round.
