I have four different aquariums and all now have this heater (appropriately sized). These have been the most reliable and have never failed or overheated my tanks, unlike other brands I tried originally. Highly recommend.

A month and 6 days after stop working properly. This heater almost kill my Corals and clown fishes. For some reason it went Above 78° which it was the set temperature and ended over 93°! I have NO idea how my clowns are still alive All the corals shrink up but I reacted quickly making fresh COLD salt water and lower the temp to 77° and 2 days after they’re fine BUT DO NOT RELY on this heater yea it heats BUT use a On/Off temp controlled outlet to avoid a similar situation! I can’t return it as they just replace the item for 30 days anything after that is basically replacing the item so I literally lost my $.

Nice little heater, nice and compact with built in thermometer, easy to use. Only bad thing is that cable from wall outlet to control unit is a bit short, since it’s plugged into a power strip that’s under my stand to hide, the short length doesn’t allow much for hiding the cables.

It's a nice heater but the built in thermometer is not accurate. It reads the temperature higher than it actually is. Which is why I don't rely on it. I use separate thermometers in my tanks.
