My cat wouldn't leave some wounds alone after a vet visit and this was such a wonderful way to go. The flower is soft, slides over their head and a simple cord and a simple spring pinch clip to hold it at the desired size. I only needed it on her for a few days. Also machine washable!I need to note that if you have a cover on your litter box, it may be difficult for the cat to get in. I found the flower removed on 2 occassions because I think she got stuck going in / out of the litter box. I don't find the need to have it on very tight and I saw her resting her head like a pillow. It gave just enough time for healing to happen.I also use this to help me trim my other cat's nails. My son holds the cat and I trim her nails. She can't watch me or be tempted to nip at me. The flower collar works!

I love this . My cat has a bad rash around his neck and head. He is still on the mend and doing great. This sunflower is made like a pillow. It is adjustable via a string. He can still eat and drink... Jump around ....and resume all activities. He never tried to take it off. He slept so cute with his head on it. My cat is small ...he still could scratch a little .. it's machine washable .. I'd buy it again.

I had my 4 month old kitten spayed and a friend suggested I get an inflatable collar instead of the typical cone. This collar is not inflatable, it's more like the foam neck pillow. I had tried the typical cone before her surgery and she was running into walls, banging her head against the wall, trouble eating, basically her normal routine. So, I looked up collars and this one looked cute and tried it out. She hated it, but she was able to walk and eat. It definitely helped with the healing process for her. It stayed on most of thr time by the end of the 2 weeks she was over it. The collar has and adjustable cord, as she's small I had to tie a knot so she didn't wiggle herself out. I've washed it and it's hold its shape and softness. Definitely recommend it!

This fit my cat just fine, and after a few minutes he stopped trying to remove it. Seemed quite comfortable wearing the thing, and it looked adorable! The flower is large enough to prevent him from licking the area I was trying to protect.Downsides:1. Gets soaked when the cat drinks, and then starts collecting litter. Litter got EVERYWHERE and I’m still discovering and cleaning it up!2. should be obvious but this is not as sturdy as a plastic cone of shame. Instead of licking the wound, he licked the flower and eventually it started to rip apart.3. The cord that tightens the collar is long and difficult to hide or tuck. Every time it came undone my cat tried to play with it. Hilarity and collar destruction ensued.Overall, it’s okay as a comfortable alternative to plastic E-collars, but don’t expect it to last long enough to reuse it, and be mindful of the mess it could create!

My cat has anxiety and had a flare up where she was scratching and licking herself raw, I got her this cute cone and the minute I put it on her she seemed immediately happy! The last two days she’s had it on she has been extra outgoing and seems to her love the squishy pillow feel of the cone. She’s more out of her shell than she has been recently and is enjoying spending time with us and getting pets and overall feeling more friendly which makes me so happy 🥲 she had scratched a wound on her cheek and it’s healing up nicely now. She can eat and use the litter box easily still and this seems to block her enough so she can’t go ham on licking herself. I think it’s kind of acting like one of those anxiety compression shirts for animals - she’s super relaxed. I can’t thank this cone enough!

My small pup wears this after the vet and it's like a built in pillow. It's soft and light weight, She never complains or tried to kick it off.... It's so cute !

My cat likes this product a lot, it washes and dries well in the sun and he can rest on it when he sleeps so it doesn't disturb him too much. Also, It does it's job well, he is unable to scratch his head and neck, where he has the most issues

Definitivamente este collar es mucho mejor que el cono, mi gatito de 7 meses se adaptó muy fácil, lo utiliza como almohada, y como no pesa, no se le dificulta el caminar. Hay ocasiones en las que se contorsiona y casi se alcanza su herida y lo tenemos que vigilar, pero eso ya depende de lo mañoso del gato, en general todo muy bien con el collar.

We were given one of those horrid plastic cones by the vet after our cats surgery and he was so miserable, the cone messed with his whiskers and he kept bumping into things, tripping, and couldn’t sleep as he was so uncomfortable. I bought this trying to find something that worked and honestly I think he actually likes wearing it. So much easier for him to rest with it, it’s essentially a travel pillow. It’s so easy to get on and off him as well. He can eat with it on. And he’s not getting stuck under things like he was with the cone so we feel confident leaving him alone which we felt we couldn’t with the cone.Other pros are comfort for the cat, he can sleep with it, he can’t reach his stomach to mess with his wound, and he looks cute as heck. It has helped to lighten the mood post surgery as I think he was more upset by the cone than the actual surgery.The only cons I can see so far is he can still reach his paws if he tries hard enough, although that’s only a problem if the wound is on a front paw. And the toggle while super handy is quite big so some cats might fuss with it, although we’ve just kept it outside rather than tucked against his skin and I haven’t noticed any issues.
