Decent illumination better suited to a doorway or outside of a garage. Do not think that this will light up a large area. Solar panel gathers light well and the light stays on all night even with our relatively short winter days.Easy to operate and so far has withstood our winter winds out here on the plains.4 stars

We got this for a backyard light to replace an old one. This one is so much brighter! We live in the country and it lights up all of our backyard and side yard which is close to an acre. You can adjust the angle of the light and we did have to adjust a little to get just the right coverage. Easy to install on a pole or like we did on the back of our garage. Highly recommend!

I am reviewing the HYPERLITE Parking Lot Light 200W: 30000LM 5000K LED Shoebox Light with Photocell, Arm & Slip Fitter 2 in 1 Mount LED Pole Light for Parking Lot, Garage...This is a really nice lamp to have lighting your way at night. It charges during the day when it is sunny, and shines at night automatically. It works up to 3 days with no sun, albeit, it gets dimmer every night. once the sun comes out, it recharges in a day or less. I like that it gets brighter when it picks up movement. Time will tell, how it performs during winter. Overall a great product, that I will recommend to others.

I got this to test out on my front drive way. I have a number of smaller lights that are not strong enough to illuminate the whole area; however, when I tested this, I'm thinking it's too bright for the driveway and might be better used to illuminate my entire backyard. If you need a ton of light, this is the light you need, just don't look at it direct when on. You'll have spots for the rest of the day.Amazing amount of light for 300W. I used to have a 250W High Pressure Sodium in my back yard and it illuminated a decent area. I also had other lights to augment the HPS light. With this light, its the only one needed. It also feels super solid and seems like it will withstand many winter/summer cycles.

Picked this up to replace an old school light that was costing us a fortune and was acting up. This one is so much brighter and so much cheaper. LEDs are really awesome with how much light they can throw for how much electricity they use. We didn't use the photocell controller as we hooked it up to a home automation system, but it is a nice touch to have it there if needed.It is very well built with sturdy materials and clear markings on the neck to help you get the right angle. The cooling fins work well and didn't allow too much heat to build up on the unit, so I expect we won't get any issues with premature death of the LEDs.Overall I am very impressed by this light.

This light appears to be very well made. The housing is heavy duty aluminum with good heat dissipation fins on the back. The light mounting assembly is very sturdy and will keep the light in place under pretty much any conditions. I like that you can mount it on a pole or on a flat surface and that it comes with a 'dusk till dawn' sensor so you can set it up and forget it, plus it doesn't waste energy. The wire connectors that came with it are handy. They hold the wires tightly and are super easy to connect and disconnect as needed.
