Wanted to start making videos and my headset mic wasn’t cutting it. This mic seemed like a good cross between functionality and affordability so I gave it a try. It sounds so much better, but like every mic you’re going to want a cover or pop filter for it. Kind of irritating it doesn’t come with one but minor nitpick.Set up is easy, just take out of the box and hook up to the PC via USB. Had no problem with the pc recognizing it.One weird thing is that it unmutes itself when the computer goes to sleep. I’m not sure why. Haven’t been able to figure that out so I just unplug it when I’m done. Minor thing and could be some weird settings on my computer but still annoying. The mic has a red light when it’s on though so it’s easy to see when it’s active.The quality of sound is really good, it picks up sound so well I had to put a filter on to keep out the AC noise. It’s not that hyper clear super close up warm sound you get with high end mics, but this is perfectly fine quality for most hobbyists, amateurs, or even if you’re just looking for something better than your gaming headset mic.Overall I’d say well worth the price. It’s exactly what I needed.

My laptop's internal microphone broke (no idea how). I do a lot of zoom calls, so for a while, I plugging in a headset and leaving it on my desk to use as a microphone (since, for the sake of professionalism, I couldn't just wear my Razor Gaming Headset). Yeah... this is a lot better than doing that. It takes up less space, looks nicer, and it has a higher quality microphone. I don't know why I let myself do the other method for so long, but I'm glad I spent the money. This certainly makes life much easier.

Very solid mic for the price. I use it as my main mic while I game. Crystal clear audio so people can hear you. I like how you are able to easily mute yourself with the tap feature. Lightweight and very adjustable. It’s fairly small but a beast for your outgoing audio.

Everyone on the video meetings was saying that I was either too low volume or muffled and if I turned my head, they heard nothing. It also sounded like I was on speaker phone, with a mild echo from the room. With the HyperX SoloCast everyone says that I am loud and clear. Problem solved! This item has a solid feel and is well-constructed. The only thing that confused me is that the red light means that the microphone is ON, not muted. I would have a green light for ON, a red light for MUTED, and no light for "turned off".

Me encanto, super fácil de configurar, sólo lo conecte a la computadora y listo.Tiene buena calidad de audio, sirve como tu primer micro para hacer podcast o transmisiones, sólo que si lo debes tener cerca.Se ve bonito, el blanco es más económico qué el negro pero se se ve muy bien, no sé por qué sea esto.Hyperex es sinónimo de calidad, asà que no esperaba menos.
