Needed to transport my elderly ball python for a big move last year. Tied him up securely in this bag (wrapping the drawstrings around the entrance end and tying it some more), then put the bag in a locking plastic storage tub with air holes, heat packs taped outside, and plenty of aspen shavings for padding and pee absorbing. The trip went great, the breathable bag kept him calm and secure, and it survived getting peed on and put through the wash. I've got it folded up in my snake supplies for future use.

I use this when taking my ball python to the vet. I personally would prefer to put her in ine of those visible window backpacks for small dogs or guinea pigs, but not tryna freak ppl out, lol.The bag seems very well made & durable. Have only used it once so far since I bought it.

This specific use snake handling bag,is very practical for most snake issues..however,once tightened at the top for closure,it's easy,and best to 'double tie the string/ropes around closure at the top,to avoid any snake head movement towards it..added safety precaution in my opinion..and always watch where your walking,and where you reach out to grab,or handle an object in open areas,as in closed areas,as home garages,outside storage areas,and outdoor supplies..stay safe,etc..Thank you..SS

Let me start this off by saying I have yet to use this product to actually hold a live snake. Instead, my snake obsessed son uses it to carry his pretend rubber snakes in once he has “caught†them. That being said, this is a quality product. Bag material itself is thick, well swen, thick ties.

As a professional trapper, I use this bag frequently. The largest snake I've put in there is a 5' 6" red tail boa and she fit comfortably. I highly recommend this product.

The seams were not tied off which could lead to bag failure. Not the quality I expected for the price.
