This tool makes punching down keystone jacks so much easier than the typical method. Yes the jacks may cost a little more but the time needed to punch down outweighs that if you are doing more than a few at a time. Highly recommend this tool. It is not as expensive as some of the similar models but seems to do the job well. it is very sturdy, feels very well built.

I am wiring for an expansion and this tool really helped with the 80+ connections I needed to terminate. Combined with the EZ plugs I was able to get the walljacks completed rather quickly, compared to punching each individual wire

This is an excellent tool for quick punch downs. Saves a ton of time especially when working on big jobs.

For the price and complexity, it works well enough. This was my forst foray into ICC, having used exclusively Leviton over the years. The ICC CAT6 connectors are ok, but they seem (purely subjective, and maybe somewhat biased) less evolved than Leviton's.For this The handles are large, and I have large hands. The jackrapid tool that others use (including leviton, ortronics, panduit, etc) fits my hand easier, though both really take both hands to operate. I feel the JR tool inserts and cuts better. This tool feels clunky and is overly heavy to me. The plus side is that the entire tool (with 2 dies) is on the order of half the cost of the JR.

Seems fine and well made, but I couldn't use since it requires EZ or HD jacks. Mine were different and won't fit the tool properly.

Works great on SOME ez and hd jacks. Recently ordered new case of ez jacks and instead of the normal order they punched down in, they were slightly different and didn't quite fit in the tool. They were the EXACT model number, even the cap was different that goes on at the end. Not sure if they changed the jacks or if I have received an really old batch.
