This is well worth the time required! It comes with easy to understand instructions and a recipe booklet. Many of the recipes are written for the European market with products that are less available in the USA. However, the vanilla ice cream recipe can be modified easily by adding additional flavors (mint/ green coloring) for mint chocolate chip ice cream….YUM!!! Note: stir in the mini chocolate chips AFTER churning.It stays cold enough to make 2 separate batches, one right after the other.

After 4 batches of icecream, the freezer bowl is cracked and leaking blue gel everywhere and the cheap plastic coupling that drives the ice cream churning paddle from the KitchenAid mixer has broken into piecesIt was easy to use and to clean before it broke. Value for the money is abysmal.

We have now used this attachment once. The ice cream was so tasty. I did not receive any instruction booklet in my box, so between reviews and YouTube, able to find various hints on how to use. Like being able to have ice cream without all of the additives found in grocery store cartons of ice cream.

The recipe calls for butter which harden to little bite of butter and didn’t blend well in the liquid. It might need more blending next to time

This makes ice cream the easy way. For soft serve just eat it as soon as it's made or stick the ice cream in the freezer to firm up.

We've got the KA, just needed the ice cream attachment. Kids are loving the ice cream we've made with it. Super easy to attach and use. Cleaning easy too.

Material comes off churning ice cream. Leaves a silver gray residue in ice cream. Also blue substance leaks into freezer. Only used once
