This DC powered fridge has saved me up to $50 per day on a trip. I don’t buy rest stop or gas station snacks at top dollar anymore. I make or buy my snacks in bulk ahead of time. I get water, tea, and soda ahead of time as well. This leaves no reason to buy anything in the store other than maybe a cup of ice.The product works great, cools down fast, and the door is easy to operate. I would recommend

Bought this refrigerator to pair with a Jackery 1000 for a 2 1/2 week road trip to Utah from the Midatlantic and back. The fridge fit perfectly tied down behind the front seat of my access cab Tacoma (the rear seats have been removed and a flat deck installed) along with the Jackery 1000, two 100w Jackery solar panels, our clothes, some supplies, a large DeWalt radio, cold weather gear, and all sorts of other things. Truck was stuffed, but it all fit. Bed was loaded with a bed rack, rooftop tent, 23zero wrap around awning, 28 gallons of water, 10 gallons of fuel, camping chairs, a table, cookware, 20 lb propane tank, offroad recovery gear, a Yeti 65 (full of beer, didn't want to waste space in the fridge), but still enough space to fit local firewood when we camped. The fridge holds roughly a weeks worth of groceries for two people, and draws very little power. Through any given night the Jackery 1000 never went below ~87% charge running the refrigerator, and was back at full charge after just a couple hours of driving while still running the fridge set to 36°.Once we made it to Utah we spent about five and a half days in the wilderness of the San Rafael Swell running 4x4 trails and exploring, and never once did the refrigerator fail on us. Once or twice the power cable did shake loose from the rough terrain, but checking it every once in a while solved that problem. Not only was the refrigerator absolutely perfect for us and our trip out to the wilderness, we've used it a couple times with the Jackery 1000 during power outtages to save essentials and more expensive items from going bad in the house refrigerator.Overall, I couldn't recommend the JP50pro more, and can only assume any and all of Iceco's refrigerator/freezers will perform just as well. Because of the limited space in my Tacoma's access cab, I am very happy that they offer this slimmer profiled fridge that performs so well. I did purchase an aftermarket ARB 12v plug for it after reading the Iceco plug doesn't fit as snuggly as it should, and carried both during the trip in case of failure. The ARB does fit more snuggly than the plug that came with the fridge, and it still managed to shake itself loose as I mentioned. Something to consider, but again, easily mitigated by sinply checking the connection after rough patches of trail (which there is a lot of in the San Rafael Swell).Added a photo of a campsite we found to truly show how far out you can go and trust an Iceco won't let you down. We were about a day's drive into the San Rafael Swell at that point, which is another 40ish miles from the closest town, so we were pretty far out there. Thanks for reading, hope this helped.

I have a small business part-time in the summer and this was perfect for all my events. The price tag was a little high, but it met all my needs. I’ve had it for a little while, and it held up perfectly. I would buy again.

Bought as a replacement for my failed 35qrt? unit made by Bodega. After several months I have determined this cooler is great. It’s quiet when in the truck cab. Can run off my 12v socket or 400w 110v factory truck inverter. At 50qrts it’s big and holds quite a bit. The cover is a nice touch too. We use it for overlanding, regular camping and to hold leftovers from nights out so we don’t have to take them directly home.

This is a replacement for a very old refrigerator in my camper van. So far it seems more efficient than the old one. It does have a fan which the old one did not so there is a little more noise but still quiet. Sounds more like a house refrigerator now. Love the double hinge lid and the display. Easy to know what the temperature is now. I did have a question about how this ran at first. Contacted customer service and the support was good. Like the extra shelf in the back too. Great place to put items to grab easily. I like the included cover. Found out that I could separate the upper part of the cover and just use that The frig is permanently mounted in the van on a slider so using the bottom part was not going to work. Now I can just put on the upper part like a cap if I am going to be in hot weather and want to reduce the run time.

We bought this new and took it on a three week road trip. It ran 24/7, either in the car or in the hotels. It is very quiet, the temp is adjustable, a lot will fit inside it, it isn’t overly heavy, it came with a thermal cover, a 12v car cord, and a 120v AC cord. It worked perfectly. What more can you ask?I did purchase the two year extended warranty just be safe.

This unit is amazing! I did a 48 hour test with it full of both food a beverage bottles. I set the temperature to 37 which is lower than I'm actually going to use it to get worse case results running on my EcoFlow Delta 2 which I modified by adding an Anderson connector to & cut off the car connector in the IceCo & replaced it with an Anderson connector as well. Car connectors burn out, get disconnected on bumpy roads, etc. After 48 hours I only lost 22% of my charge with NO charging input at all which means I could go six days keeping the IceCo at 37 degrees without having to charge at all. I have an EcoFlow 100W solar panel on my roof & a portable 200W solar panel if needed plus if we are driving the EcoFlow will be charged via the car. This is an American made product & the quality is great. It has wheels, good handles, & the lid can open from either end or come off completely. Really good engineering.

The refer is very well built. All structural parts are metal. It is quiet. My only recommendation would be to have a phone app so you can set and monitor the performance of the refer. With the refer in the back of my midsize SUV I can't see the display or hear it running.Great Product so far.UPDATE:I have since learned that lower end models in the JP line have the ability to be controlled and monitored via an app over Bluetooth. I am very disappointed that this higher end JP40 "Pro" does not have that capability.
