With any of ICON’s color options you can know they are UV-protected. White, Clear or any of the Smoke options have material that is protected. Nothing is worse than having a nice viewport become hazy, yellowed and less aesthetically pleasing due to UV damage.

Nobody wants to have a vacation cut short due to a very vital component such as your skylight failing. Skylights are not only exposed to sunlight and UV, but they can also be subject to intense weather, hail, tree branches and other such impacts. This is why ICON uses a THICK polycarbonate material that results in domes that have unmatched impact resistance.
Beyond material, important design considerations have been made to improve the durability of ICON skylights. Simple, but meaningful trimming is done to prevent flange lifting and to create an effective surface to seal to the RV roof. Pre-drilled holes are provided on the flange for most models. These holes are enlarged to allow for expansion and contraction at the mechanical fastening point.

Next, carefully position the dome over the prepared opening, and secure it in place using the screws.

Perfect side for are Cherokee 2019 bunkhouse camper work well over the competitors skylight domes and so much cheaper not to mention it's smoked !! So it's nice looking will change or other dome on camper to this easy install less holes then what or skylight that was originally installed on camper so u can use the same self tapping screws on it no complaints here price is awesome so much cheaper then all the other I've looked at !!

We bought a new roof on our home so we need to do skylights. These are very affordable and amazing quality. They are very clear and have a slight tint to them. They have been through a few small hailstorms and made it through. Hopefully, we do not need these in the future but if we do, we will be repurchasing.

I like that it fits 1997 Winnebago Adventurer 37.5 foot rv...$465 pkus 62.95 shipping from winnebago direct... used drill screws not included..45 degrees here so I am very happy...wish the rest if repairs would be so easy! Will probably donate rv i cannot keep up with repairs and irresponsible repairmen..holes did not line up made new ones.

This skylight cover is very heavy material. 10x better than the factory one I'm replacing. From the looks of the quality, this will never need replacing again. I will however put 5 or 6 coats of ceramic on it for uv protection

We had a white sky light over the shower that was cracked in our camper that we pulled off. We replaced it with is clear to help with more light in the shower. It worked perfectly.

I had a skylight (2007) that developed an number of hairline cracks emanating from the outside flange towards the bubble. This skylight had a double glass. One flat inside and the bubble on the top. Rather than remove the entire skylight I put this new skylight over top of the existing one. I used the 3M 5200 adhesive to secure it along with 8 screws. Then capped it with self leveling caulk. Worked perfectly. thanks so very much! JK

Nous l'avons acheté pour remplacer la dôme de la douche qui est cassé. On hésitait entre clair et fumé de peur que ça soit trop foncé et qu'il fasse trop noir dans la douche. Nous avons tout de même pris fumé et et nous sommes très satisfaits, ce n'est pas fumé trop opaque c'est donc juste assez lumineux pour nous. Nous sommes très satisfaits.Le matériau est de bonne qualité et devrait durer des années.
