I really like this product, it grips very well. The gripper strips are extremely sharp, so you may need a second layer of padding, as the cover doesn't fully pad them, especially on the corners.

I love it!!!!! Just wish the little girls weren't so sharp .keeps cutting my hands but still works lovely

The hoop needs to be assembled, and it is not easy to do, because the wood is soft and cheap and warped and wasn't cut square. Also, only some of the holes are predrilled. It took considerable effortt o assemble it so it is more or less square and more or less can lay flat on a table.After all this fighting with poor wood, it is an ok hoop. It was easy to stretch the cloth over it and it holds the cloth pretty nicely. The hoop came with a protective cover that keeps your hands from being poked and also helps to keep the edges of the fabric clean

Overall this is a great punch needle frame and I love that it comes with a fleece cover. Just be careful when assembling and wear some leather work gloves if possible - I slipped and cut my finger open pretty badly.
