This is a great air cooler It was easy to install even as a new pc builder, it performance really great and its not that loud since you can change the fan speed on bios or the motherboard. I've had it for a while now as I wanted to truly test it its very durable. I haven't had any issues with over heating so I'm very pleased.

I mean you can't beat this for the money, I have used this cooler on a couple of builds, for 4 and 6 core cpu's ( 5600, i5-11600, i5-12400, i3-13100 ). It works great for all those as long as you case has some air flow at all. I have used it in cases with poor air flow and it kept the CPU under 85c in heavy gaming. So yeah good price, easy install, looks good and works.

My son got this for his FIRST gaming computer, and my first computer build in over a decade. He loves the ARGB, and I love the performance and value.PRO: Quiet and "cool": ++ VERY quiet -- way more quiet than the stock AMD cooler (per reviewers). Not silent, but even at full speed it's more quiet than I expected. Just above a whisper with the case open. Wow! ++ Seems to cool well (On a mid-powered AMD Ryzen 7600X, 65W to 105W). ++ Heatpipe shape "setback" leaves ample room for any size RAM sticks (On an ASRock B650M Pro RS WiFi mATX motherboard). ++ Impressive machined copper CPU contact points. ++ Long fan wires, versatile mounting hardware options and included thermal paste made it easy to install. ++ ARGB colors may be a bit cliché, but damn, it's fun and cool! (and can easily be turned off or unplugged.) ++ Arrived in perfect condition (no bent fins from the manufacture or shipping)**.CON: Bulky and fragile: -- This cooler's height is 150mm, and I found out the hard way that it does NOT fit into a old-school mid-tower mATX case that is 175mm wide externally. Now that it's installed, I can measure the case's mobo stand-offs (~12mm), plus the AMD AM5 CPU and motherboard (10mm thick), plus this 150mm cooler... all add up to about 172mm, which is about 3mm to 5mm too much for the internal space, and the case's side-panel won't completely close. So, I have to leave the panel slightly ajar with a 5mm gap on one edge (better ventilation?). :-) This is my own fault for taking a gamble with my old narrow-ish case. I tried to find a good 145mm cooler, but didn't find many options. I wish this one shaved 5mm off it's height. So close! I'll make it work. -- This cooler fan's center sticker is slightly off-center, so it LOOKS like the fan is out-of-balance (wobble), but the fan is actually in balance, so it's just a minor visual annoyance. I'm tempted to remove the sticker. -- **Even when we were being extremely careful, we bent a few fins during install and PSU wire routing (minor, cosmetic).Wishlist: o Given the ample space between the CPU and the these bottom fins (and ample RAM clearance), I would like to see a re-design that is 5mm smaller, so it's 145mm tall. o Some sort of plastic frame around the edges of the cooling fins, so we're less likely to bend them? (I know this would increase cost and possibly lessen the cooling capability, but hey, I can dream, can't I?).

I got it on sale for $17 and it works. It keeps my 5800x3d at 38.4C - 42.7C at idle. When playing games, the max temp was 80.3C, but it averages around 70-73C. Did a really good job keeping it cool at this price point. The mounting process was really easy. It came with a back plate but the one that came with the motherboard works the same. I put it in my NR200P ITX case, and it fits perfectly. The noise is what you expect out of an air cooler, but there isn't any whining noise at high speeds, which is great. The RGB lights looked pretty nice and well-diffused. The only downside was the damage shown in the picture. Hard to tell what could have caused it. Whether it was shipping or during packaging. However, despite that the functionality was not impacted. Would recommend this cooler for any budget builds! You don't need to return/replace it if there's damage like I had but I was just being lazy. I didn't want to go through the trouble for $17.

Pretty much what the summary says, I'm running a Ryzen 5 5600 in a stock ATX chassis and it keeps my processor nice and cool without a lot of fuss or noise. Installation was pretty easy, I just wish the heatsink attached to the rail standoffs a bit easier, I had a hard time with alignment between the heatsink itself and the provided standoff rails. And I say that as someone who's taken hundreds of computers apart in their day. But once it was on, the fan attached with the included clips pretty easily, just be aware of cable routing. As for size, it's big. it goes all the way from the motherboard to right to the chassis edge in terms of height. I thought for sure it wasn't going to fit my case but it just barely stays below the edge. Through all that though it keeps my processor nice and cool no matter what I'm doing. No thermal issues, no high fan speeds to report. I've been using my system normally to heavy for about 2 weeks now after installation and everything is as it should be. For an inexpensive heatsink it does the job perfectly.

The model that I bought was not quite enough performance for my needs but that is on me for the decision. I should have picked up a more robust model for my Ryzen 7700X.That siad, I was impressed with the build quality, ease of install, and performance. Well exceeding my expectations for the price point. It's a lot like a n updated hyper evo 212.
