The gambrel was delivered on time. Just screw the bottom system together, follow the directions on how to thread the rope through the pully's and you are set. I like the clip on the pully's so you can easily disconnect the unit for storage when not in use.Highly recommend the gambrel.

Very sturdy and easy to use. Can be used for other animals besides deer but every deer hunter should get one of these. Good quality, good materials and good value.

How hard is it to present accurate measurements? The length of the pulley and hook is shown as 1.7", but the actual measurement is over 7". The width of the hook is shown as 1.2", but is actually closer to 2.5". May have to return it depending on if I can get it to work for my application.
