This ignition lock cylinder went in an 03 tahoe and it fit perfectly. Be very careful when installing it that you put it in exactly how you pulled the other one out. I made the mistake of over rotating as I was sliding it in and the cylinder actually snapped unto place upside down inside the ignition assembly. This prevented me from being able to press the little release point through the hole on your steering column since the tab wasn't on top like the hole, it was opposite the hole on the bottom side of the steering room. So this led to me having to remove the steering wheel and are bag which required a few specialty tools but all in all the lock cylinder works great and was fairly straight forward to install (despite the troubles I caused myself by twisting to much as I inserted it). Keys work great and it seems like a good product for the cost. Highly recommend for 03 tahoe and/or any similar vehicle from chevy or gm.
