2.As this item fits a lot of motorcycle, you may not use all of the wire of the Ignition Switch, and you may also not use all of the bolt holes of the fuel gas cap cover to fit your motorbike, this item just up to your bike's situation.
3.The red wire is the anode, the brown wire is the negative, the black/white connector is the flameout wire, and the black wire is the power lock outlet wire.
4.Pls ensure and double check your bike's wire and bolt holes of the fuel gas cap cover before you take this order.
5.When you do not understand how to install it, pls do not install it by yourself and maybe you need to take this item to the loacl dealer to modify it. They can help you.

Great fit but cap finish is dull on outer edge. Just shiny on top. Gas flip lid key cover is plastic and weak. There are no wiring instructions. Didn’t fit into my harness had to cut and rewire. All in all it was definitely worth the money.

I'm pretty impressed. I'm using the ignition and the gas cap and they both seems well made and are working fine. The project isn't on the road yet, so I can't speak to the durability yet, but so far so good.

I had a group ride planned for the next day I bought this product as it claimed in the decription to fit my motorcycle and it does not. What a waste of time and money now I cant go on the trip that was planned. Thanks for wasting my time ......

The blue protective film they put on the bar lock and the tank lock peels away leaving behind a difficult to remove residue that stains the chrome more than anything in shipping would.As stated in every other comment, this is not a direct fit as Amazon and the seller claim it is for many vehicles. My ‘96 Shadow VLX has a 3 wire ignition. The switch unscrewed from the backplate and screwed into the stock location with the included screws. Glad that worked because I had to drill the old factory ones out. Make sure you know what you’re doing when you get this set up, otherwise you’re going to end up with a bike that is always on or never on.

This took about an hour to install. First I had to remove the security screws. Got them off then I had to rewire the thing. That took the longest time because I had no reference to work with but I got it to work in the end. Not even going to bother with the helmet and fork lock. Not worth the effort to me I never use them anyway. ( Don't go by how I wired it, I ended up changing it after the picture )

The ignition switch needed a little rewiring to work on my bike, (which I don’t understand because the product was rated for my year make and model) but all in all things are fine. I’m glad my husband is a motorcycle mechanic.

Very bad quality nothing is good the helmet lock wouldn’t turn on properly !The ignition will turn on with my old keys so basically any small key will turn the bikeThe handle bar lock it was so cheap made I didn’t want to put the offer to install itAnd final the gas tank lock isn’t even Crome and it will move left and right after lock the tank wouldn’t came out but it will have movementUnfortunately i didn’t take any pictures to share because I already returned itJust wast of time

It was the wrong part, and it was made badly. Completely wrong description and came months late. After trying to make it work the part broke, do not waste your time and money on this product.
