Nice, compact, and good-value light meter. The sensor on this device can rotate 270 degrees, allowing you to measure upward, downward, left, and right without twisting your hand. It offers more features than other light meters on the market. For example, it has a memory function to record up to 32 values. You don't need a pencil; simply short-press the REC button to save a reading. To retrieve a value, long-press the REC button and then short-press the REL/UP button to advance to the next reading.For first-time users, the MAX/MIN button continuously records the highest or lowest readings and displays them onscreen (If you press MAX, it only displays the highest value and never goes down from there; vice versa for MIN). Also, the REL/UP button is for Relative mode, which resets current reading to Zero, and the new value represents the difference from that Zero (not the actual flux reading)

This works well. Easy instructions. Battery included, 9 volt. Screwdriver included to replace and initially install the battery. Lens capped attached to prevent loss.

I bought this as a backup but its proven itself to be fine on its own. I love the easy to record values, you can easily read a room and get measurements stored easily. The rotating head is great, as long as it holds up, I don't see why this couldn't be used as a main light meter.
