Use these for mixing fast setting concrete mix. For doing a few bags once in a while, they will hold up pretty good and gets the mix done well

I've been mixing paint by hand with a paint stick for years and years. I finally found these awesome paint mixer paddles that use a hand drill. What a treasure. Their small enough to stir both quart and gallon size paint cans.Clean up is equally quick, with water based paint, I put the mixer stick in a bucket of warm soapy water and give it a spin with the drill. Job is done!

Nice mixer but a bit larger and bulkier for a DIYer.

I've used this to process a few 5 gallon buckets of clay. I'd estimate the wear/tear on the attachment to be somewhere between the harshness of paint and cement. There is no visible rust or damage so far. The clay I'm processing is red clay and is slightly acidic. The combination of water, mild acidity, and abrasive rocks makes other metal that comes in contact with the slurries rust relatively quickly. The only con I've got is that rocks and other debris can get stuck at the bottom of the coil. I have to pay special attention to make sure this little crevice is cleaned if I'm going to stir up a filtered batch of clay. I've since labeled one for dirty clay and one for filtered clay to avoid the worry.

Tried using a wooden paint stick. Not very good. Got a mixer for my drill. It mixed well when the drill was set on slow speed. Be careful on high speed, can cause a mess.
