This is a great item for those just learning the art of bottle cutting. The instructions are *very* lacking but easily found online. It takes a minute to get the hang of it, but once you do it is pretty easy.Definately worth the price.

Extremely disappointed in this so-called "Professional" Bottle Cutter. It is so cheaply made, you can't lock it in place in order to score the glass evenly. I collected a large number of wine bottles from a restaurant in order to try out this cutter, and out of the whole bunch, the two pictured are the ones that turned out best. (Unfortunately, I tossed out the others, mostly in broken pieces of glass, and didn't take pictures.) I'm a pretty handy person and followed the directions, but even the directions are comical. They were written by someone who was probably doing their best to translate to English and missed the mark. Don't bother with this product. You get what you pay for, and I should have known better.

This bottle cutter is much more stable than the last one I had. Metal base is a keeper

There was no issues with the order and the kit showed up complete, and undamaged. I like how versatile it is and the material is a solid feel of metal and seems to have been assembled with quality. I would have to say that my only disappointment/complaint would be that it doesn't alow for longer bottles and it seems that the score blade wore down rather quickly, but with the three built-in to the one piece that just needs to be rotated to bring up the new blade was an interesting design and works well. Not sure where I would get a replacement once the part wears completely 🤔, but I will worry about that when I need to. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and would say the price I paid and the quality of the product is absolutely fair for both parties.

It is a handy piece of kit to own, but very ‘Heath Robinson’ in some ways. It takes a long time to adjust for different bottle sizes; fiddly and made more awkward by too much powder coating inside the Allen key holes. Also it isn’t really designed to cut small bottles, the cutting wheel just isn’t able to move, so if you can’t line the bottle side up with the wheel where you want to cut, your stuffed. It also comes with a separate glass cutter designed for flat glass cutting, a few sheets of fine gauge sandpaper which are too small to be of any use, another metal pen with a rubber end which I am yet to find a use for, and a pair of gripping gloves that are the only accessory in my opinion needed apart from the rubber bands. It’s almost as if they have put as many useless accessories in with the item as possible to make up for the dubious product. That said, it is good for cutting standard wine bottles. It’s just not great. I’d give it 5 out of 10.

If you're looking for a glass bottle (round) cutter, this is an relatively inexpensive tool that gets the job done. 30% is the tool, 70% is your patience. The carbide cutter on this is pretty good, you'd need to calibrate the roller yourself to make sure everything is square. I would recommend going around with a sharpie at the location you want to score, gently push it against the carbide (to ONLY score the sharpie line!!) to make sure your line meets the other side, then proceed to score only ONCE, check if the line is consistent all the way across. Then be patient.... boiling water, pour slowly over it for at least a good 10-20s to make sure the heat is well distributed across the thickness, then pour room temperature water on it, repeat, be patient. Now onto the build quality itself, not bad, but if you want to keep using it, do yourself a giant favor to swap out all the black hex head screws by better quality M4x8 cap screws, at shown in the picture. I don't know where the manufacturer got their screws but it's awful, the steel is too soft, the hex head strip very easily. So if you want to use it more, swap out the screws so you don't spend an hour trying to get a screw out because the head is stripped.Careful with the glass and enjoy!
