I was needing a replacement pool pump for my above ground pool. Most I found did not have an off and on switch. Would have had to purchase a pool timer or plug and unplug the pump every day. The price was right on this one, It has an on/off switch and it has a Timer built in. which made it Stand out. This was a great buy, the Pump is super quiet, can hardly hear it running, I am very pleased with this purchase.

This 1HP above ground pool pump is great for the price. It doesn't match the quality of my existing pump which is double the price. I tested it, it works fine. I will be using it as a backup for my existing pump. It comes with a multitude of different size hose adapters

Sometimes the impeller stops. Gently whack the side with a brick or stone. It may dislodge the blockage.

I added another line to my pool and needed to increase the HP. This pump is amazing. It has great flow, is easy to install with minor modifications to my system, and the pool flows better now.

I find this pump to be useful as a portable of sorts - I can move it to a different pool, maybe in different years, because I can set the speed at full or about 2/3rds of that, and that makes it versatile for different size applications. Plugs right into the 110 at building, so it's easy to move around.
