I was surprised at the quality of this product. We'll made tools. I bought this gift for a child but will now be giving it to an adult due to the weight of the tools. The tools are made for an adult. Nice bag to carry the tools. I would recommend this product for any rockhound.

Got this as a gift for my brother in law who recently got into rocks and petrology/geology. He said it’s a great set of tools and better than what he already had. He said it’s durable and works great for its intention. He says the hammer has a great weight to it and he loves it!

Great heft on the hammer. Chistles are solid, and larger than expected, but that isnt an issue. The Bag is what shocked me a bit, it is much better quality than I expected, very thick sturdy canvas, I can see this bag lasting for many years to come. All in all, Great kit for the price. But as others have said, the gloves are clearly ment for either a child or a woman with very small hands. I am a guy with fairly small hands and they are even to small for me. Lucky for me I did not buy the kit for the gloves. Jewelers Loupe is nice and seems very well made with its own nice lil case.All in all if you are a new rockhound or even a vet rock hound looking for a new kit, I would highly reccommend this for the price point its at.

For the price, I expected this to be a really good kit for kids. But this is a high quality package that any Rick hound would love to own!The hammer and chisels have SERIOUS heft. And th bag is just downright cute.Great buy!

Perfect for the beginner rockhound, nice hammer with a pick on the other side and 3 great chisels. Have cracked a few rocks already and looking forward to using it this spring to find new ones.

Everything seems to have held up pretty good. No issues with any of the tools and the bag is well made. Tossed the whistle and the goggles, I have better ones already.

Took my grandson rock Hounding. Our guide was impressed with how good the tools in this pack were. We had all we needed to make a successful day of Hounding. Even came with Safety glasses.

This would work for kids as well as adults. I gave this to an 8-year-old rockhound for Xmas and the only drawback is the weight of the hammer and the overall weight of the pack itself. He will grow into it and will use the hammer only with adult supervision for now. It comes with goggles and all kinds of cool things in a super sturdy bag. The only thing I had to add to the kit was a white ceramic tile, so he could use that to check the hardness of his finds by scraping them across the tile to see if they leave a mark. It was a successful gift for sure. Highly recommend.
