I ordered a freestanding RV step from Amazon..and the pins holding one leg up were missing. Rather than order a new step..since ALL of the same type steps I looked at had the same reviews, I got these to serve as a replacement. They are VERY heavy duty. Almost too hard to slide the wire off of but I'm going to stretch them a little. Last thing I want is to have the step collapse and dump me on the ground. In any case, they will work very well.

The outer wire is a thick guage. They are sturdy and i would recomend them.

These hitch pins are much better than you normally see. they do not use a flimsy wire and the wire is not locked in by a cheap little piece of sheet metal and is constantly coming off the pin. They are much better because they use a heavier locking wire that is shaped in a way that doesn't come off.
