Some complain because they are "flimsy" but what do you want? A broken boomerang or your kid in the ER? Fact is that low mass and soft structure are the only way an "indoor boomerang" (something I would have considered an oxymoron) would work and these really do work. Indoor here does not mean a gymnasium. Your living room will do fine and it's not going to ding your Ming vase.Learning curve is maybe 15 minutes. I've gotten to the point where I can get it to circle behind me and then back in front where I catch it which is a neat parlor trick I think. My toddlers like to throw them too and can do so safely (they can't manage a return). My four year old daughter has fun catching it on the return however. Easier than a foam ball. Lots of fun. Little money. No danger.

Accurate product description. It flies out about 6-8 feet and returns . It’s light and soft so that if you do manage to whack yourself in the face, it doesn’t hurt.

These are really flimsy and will tear easily. It didn’t work well for the kids. It bent out of shape easily and new couldn’t use.

Light enough you probably cannot get hurt. They would probably break if two kids started tugging on them.

I bought these and they work great. However, they are designed for indoors, so they turn faster than any other boomerang I have used. Unlike the larger ones, a five-year-old and a seven-year-old were able to get these to turn and come back.

Super fun and I felt no fear having my young boys throw them anywhere in the house (besides the kitchen, because of the stove). They will throw them near the TVs, electronics, and even flower vases. No worries! These are so light there is really nothing they could harm (unless the thing was really light, fragile, and you were really trying to). And they are so fun to throw and watch boomerang around the room, even throwing to (or at) other people. Exactly as advertised. Recommended.Easily ripped by if you wanted to, but won't rip accidentally. Won't survive being chewed on.

I bought these for my great grandsons who can’t spend a lot of time outside due to inclement weather conditions and they love playing with them indoors, hours of fun!
